Cookie Policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
This site uses as few cookies and as little local storage as it can get away with, and asks before using anything that is optional. This page explains the categories and the controls.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that holds small bits of data on your device. Both let a site remember things between visits, and both can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
2. The choice we ask you to make
On your first visit a banner offers three outcomes: accept everything, reject everything optional, or customise category by category. Strictly necessary storage cannot be switched off, because the site depends on it. Everything else stays off until you turn it on.
Your choice is stored and honoured from then on, and you can change it at any time from this page using the button below.
3. Strictly necessary
These cannot be disabled. Without them the site cannot remember your answer or stay available.
- consent: your cookie choice, so the banner does not return on every visit
- security and load balancing, applied by the hosting layer
4. Functional
Local storage that remembers your waitlist entry and referral code between visits, so the site can show your queue position and referral link without asking again. If you reject functional storage, signup still works, but your position is not remembered if you clear the dialog or switch devices.
5. Analytics
Anonymous counts of page views and interactions, used to learn what to fix. Loaded only with your consent, never used to follow you across other sites, and never combined with advertising identifiers. This site currently runs no analytics at all; the category exists so consent can be asked for before any is added.
6. Managing your choice
Use the button below to reopen the consent panel and change categories at any time. Clearing cookies and site data in your browser also clears your choice, and the banner will ask again.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The site does not run tracking of the kind those signals were built for. Where a browser sends an explicit Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, optional categories are treated as off unless you say otherwise in the banner.
8. Changes and contact
If the cookie use changes, this page and the banner change with it. Questions: legal@x402compute.cc.
